The dining table made by quality wood from Jepara has a table top made of beautiful old teak wood sourced from rural Java. Our carpenters carefully select each teak plank and combine them by hand using traditional woodworking techniques to form this unique and stunning dining table top. Each table top is painted white and then covered with a hardwearing clear matt varnish for protection and easy maintenance.
For a balanced contemporary look, we paired the table top with a powder-coated stainless steel frame base. The combination of contrasting materials adds style to any dining room, without losing its warmth, character or authenticity.
The beauty of natural teak lies in the uniqueness and individuality of each piece of wood. Variations in wood grain, color, knots and texture are far from lacking, but add character and complement the clean lines of this design. They are a testament to the authenticity and strength of our products.
The wood used is solid wood making the product much stronger, heavier and of much higher quality. It’s also easier to repair if it breaks; joints can withstand greater impact and are a stronger material for frequently used surfaces such as table tops.
